and it was decided on motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman McNulty, <br />not to favor the erection of the requested bill board, with Councilman Fletcher <br />voting fINo°. <br />On motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, it was decided to con- <br />tribute $10, and the Treasurer was so authorized, in favor of the El Camino Real <br />Association which is trying to get the Highway Commission to eliminate the <br />"Alternate" on the 1110111 signs and to place it, if anywhere, on the Bayshore <br />Highway. <br />Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, proposed the adoption of resolution <br />accepting an easement executed by Bernardo and Augusta Pinotti over, upon, and <br />across certain described real property to be used in connection with the develop - <br />went of Valota Road. The hourly wage rate prescribed <br />hereinabove is the per diem rate divided by the aforementioned number of <br />hours constituting a working day. <br />The above schedule of wage rates is the general prevailing rate of per <br />diem wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work <br />described above is to be performed. <br />Rates for legal holidays and Sundays shall be double the rate herein- <br />above described. <br />Rates for over -time shall be one and one-half (la) times the rates <br />hereinabove described.° <br />Carried. <br />A <br />r <br />
