M. <br />Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman McNulty, proposed the introduction of ordinance <br />granting to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company a franchise for the use and <br />distribution of gas within Redwood City. Carried. <br />Councilman Pletcher, seconded by Councilman Eva, proposed the introduction of ordinance <br />granting to the Pacific Cas and Electric Company a franchise for the use and <br />�I distribution of electricity within the city. The Clerk was asked to acknowledge <br />the letter and to assure Mr. Lawrence, the secretary, that the officials and <br />3 <br />4 <br />citizens of Redwood City would do all they could to cooperate in the plan outlined <br />by him. <br />In a letter to the Council, the City Planning Commission recommended to the Council that <br />M. <br />it grant the request of Mr. Perry Bygdnes for a building permit for a service <br />j <br />station at the easterly side of E1 Camino Real between Wellesley and Claremont, and <br />i; <br />permission was granted on motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Pletcher. <br />In another letter to the Council the Planning Commission recommended the granting of a <br />request for building permit by Mr. Schroder and also agreed to the division of Lots <br />{ <br />3, 4, and 5 in Block 1, Oak Knoll Manor, as follows: Lot 3 divided into 2 lots, <br />and Lots 4 and 5 divided into 3 lots.
