On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the report was <br />approved. Following which, Councilman McCarthy suggested that the attorney prepare <br />the necessary contracts between the city and these architects, but at this point <br />some discussion ensued concerning extra fees which were requested by the architects, <br />and as a consequence, on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, <br />the previous motion was rescinded with Councilman McCarthy voting "No." <br />At this time the Clerk read a letter from Miller and Warnecke setting forth certain stipula- <br />tions and agreements to be embodied in their contract. Some of these were not agree- <br />able to the council members, and as a result, on motion of Councilman McCarthy, <br />seconded by Councilman Fletcher, the entire matter was recommitted to a committee to <br />be appointed by the Mayor to work with the library board and submit a revised report. <br />On this committee Mayor Christensen appointed Councilmen McNulty and Anderson. <br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Jones, proposed resolution designating the Bank <br />of America National Trust and Savings Association as one of the banks in which city <br />fund may be kept and authorizing the Mayor and Treasurer of the City to sign warrants <br />withdrawing funds from any accounts set up in this or any other bank.
