402 <br />N <br />by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Fletcher, McCarthy, Hohn, Anderson, McNulty, <br />Christensen; Noes, none; absent, Councilman Jones. <br />After discussion by the Council with reference to the removal and demolishing of a house <br />at 936 Fulton Street, it was continued until the next regular meeting. <br />The City Attorney reported that he had written the owners of the -property at 20 Poplar Street; <br />the barn north of Stambaugh Street on the extension of Cedar Street; and the barn on Beech <br />Street between Middlefield Road and Stambaugh Street, relative to the clean-up and re- <br />moval of the premises and the matter was ordered continued until the next regular meeting <br />to see what action could be obtained from the owners of said various premises. <br />Mr. James R. Mitchell discussed with the Council his preliminary plans for the construction of a <br />new library -and a city hall extension, and after considerable discussion, on motion of <br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman McNulty, Mr. Mitchel]. was' ordered to complete <br />his city hall extension -preliminary so that the Council would have an estimate of the cost <br />thereof. <br />A motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Anderson and carried, the claims presented <br />by the City Manager were ordered paid. <br />Upon motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Hohri, the Council adjourned. <br />Harold F.
