�Q1 <br />The City Attorney reported that he had caused to be published a public notice to lease the prop- <br />erty now occupied by Mr. Emil Dehoff at the Yacht Harbor as a boat -ways and repair plant <br />and that Mr. Dehoff thought that he should be entitled to a longer lease upon said property <br />than was advertised in said notice and asked. oermission to withdraw his bid for the lease <br />provided thin the notice e affidavit therefore, which was presented and filed, Mr. Dehoff ad- <br />dressed the Council relative to said matter andopon motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded <br />by Councilman McCarthy and carried, the City Attorney was authorized to advertise for lease <br />of the nronerty occupied by Mr. Dehoff for a 5 year veriod with an option of a 5 year extension <br />upon the same general terms specified in the notice already published. The lease to said <br />prouerty when consummated to be approved by the Council. <br />The City Attorney presented an easement from Frank DePatta, his wife Roselle, DePatta, to the City <br />of Redwood City covering right of way for sewer and water pipes across certain property of <br />Mr. and Mrs. DePatta, and upon motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Anderson <br />the resolution accepting said easement was adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen <br />Fletcher, McCarthy, Hohn, -Anderson, McNulty and Christensen. Noes, none; absent,Councilman <br />Jones. <br />The City Attorney presented an easement from August J. Fromm and Mae 0. Fromm, his wife, covering <br />a portion of Wharf Street in <br />Redwood <br />City and <br />upon <br />motion of <br />Councilman <br />Fletcher, seconded <br />by Councilman McCarthy, the <br />same was <br />accepted <br />upon <br />roll call <br />as follows: <br />Ayes, Councilmen, <br />Fletcher,McCarthy,Hohn,Anderson, McNulty -and Christensen; Noes, none; absent,Councilman Jones. <br />• <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Redwood City to file an application to the United <br />States of America through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works for a grant <br />to aid in financing the construction of Warehouse No. 1 and completion of Wharf No. 1 at <br />Redwood City Harbor, Redwood City, California, and designating the City Manager to furnish <br />such information as the government may request, upon motion of Councilman Fletcher, second- <br />ed by Councilman McCarthy, carried by the following vote: Ayes, Fletcher, McCarthy,Hohn,Anderson, <br />McNulty and Christensen. Noes, none; absent,Councilman Jones. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Redwood City to file an application to the United <br />States of America through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public works for a grant <br />to aid in financir4g the construction of a new library in Redwood City, California, and desig- <br />nating the City Manager to furnish such information as the government may require was, upon <br />motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Anderson, carried by the following vote: <br />Ayes, Councilmen Fletcher, McCarthy, Hohn, Anderson, McNulty and Christensen. Noes, none; ab- <br />sent, Councilman Jones. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Redwood City to file an application to the <br />United States of America through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public works for a <br />grant to aid in financing the construction of a city hall extension and annex at Redwood City, <br />California, and ddsignating the City Manager to furnish such information as the government may <br />require was upon motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Anderson, carried <br />
