Fj <br />The City Attorney presented an escrow agreement with the Valley and Coast Warehouse <br />Company instructing the San Mateo County Title Company concerning the purchase <br />by the City of certain property from the above named Valley and Coast Warehouse <br />Company, On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, the <br />Mayor and City Clerk were authorized to sign the escrow agreement. <br />Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, proposed adoption of resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to sign agreement with the Southern <br />Pacific Company relating to the construction of a road crossing at Redwood City <br />Port. Carried. <br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, it was decided to <br />advertise for bids for the construction of additional work on Valota Road, bids <br />to be opened at 10 A. M.,August 8, 1938. Carried. <br />On'motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman Jones, Mayor Christensen was <br />given permission to leave the state. <br />The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by <br />Councilman Anderson. <br />Adjournment. <br />BEM: HAS <br />4.
