<br />that his company would have no objection to the California Pacific doing the
<br />work. It was decided, therefore, to ask the California Pacific Title Company
<br />to proceed to handle the detail of this work, on motion of Councilman Pletcher,
<br />seconded by Councilman Anderson.
<br />The City Attorney reported that he had written Mr. Behrens, the owner of the barn
<br />on Stambaugh Street, bat that no report had been received. The Attorney was
<br />instructed to ask Mr. Behrens to make some definite statement by the time of
<br />the special adjourned meeting to be held Monday, August 9.
<br />The City Manager submitted an easement signed by property owners giving the City
<br />permission to utilize for parking purposes Lots 50, 51, and 52 and 50 feet of
<br />Lot 49 of Main Street Lots; permission revocable upon twenty-four hours written
<br />notice. The cost of the preparation of the lots to be borne by the City. The
<br />Manager indicated that the merchants in that vicinity would contribute one-
<br />half of the cost. He was instracted, on motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded
<br />by Councilman Pletcher, to proceed.
<br />On motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman Pletcher, the City Manager
<br />was authorized to execute an Agreement with Richard tum Baden and Teresa tum
<br />Baden for the exclusive use and right to the flow of a spring on Redwood City
<br />property at Park and California Way in the Emerald Lake District for a period
<br />of'3 years for an annual payment of $24.
<br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Jones, proposed the adoption of resolution
<br />accepting deeds as shown below. Carried.
