<br />"RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS, PROFILES, Dr'TAILED
<br />DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND MAP OR PLAT OF PRO-
<br />POSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1938-5."
<br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California, that C. L. Dimmitt, City Engineer of said City, be and
<br />he is hereby ordered to prepare plans, profiles, detailed drawings, specifica-
<br />tions, map or plat of proposed assessment district and estimates for doing the
<br />following work and making the following improvements in said City of Redwood
<br />City, to -wit:
<br />That Quartz Street from the end of the existing cement concrete pavement
<br />near the northerly line of St. Francis Avenue to Avenue del Ora, including
<br />the intersection of Quartz Street and Avenue del Ora; and Avenue del Ora from
<br />the end of the existing cement concrete pavement near the production northerly
<br />of the westerly line of South Place across said Avenue del Ora to the existing
<br />cement concrete pavement near the southeasterly line of James Avenue including
<br />the intersection of Avenue del Ora and Quartz Street, be improved as follows,
<br />to -wit:
<br />That the Street and Avenue hereinbefore mentioned and intersections
<br />thereof be graded for their full width and for the lengths mentioned herein
<br />and described, and by having constructed on both sides of said Street and
<br />Avenue and around the park within the intersection of said Quartz Street and
<br />Avenue del Ora, combined cement concrete curbs and gutters, and by construct-
<br />ing between said combined curbs and gutters a four (411) inch stabilized slurry
<br />base pavement with a one (111) inch asphaltic armor coat wearing surface."
<br />The City Engineer submitted plans and specifications called for. Following this,
<br />Councilman Rohn, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, proposed adoption of the follow-
<br />ing Resolution. Carried.
<br />"RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS, PROFILES, SPECIFICATIONS AND
<br />MAP OR PLAT OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1938-5.11
<br />"RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California, that the clans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifica-
<br />tions for doing the following work and making the following improvements in the
<br />City of Redwood City, to -wit:
<br />That Quartz Street from the end of the existing cement concrete pavement
<br />near the northerly line of St. Francis Avenue to Avenue del Ora, including the

<br />said work and improvements described herein.
<br />AND AREAS, said City Engineer has submitted and filed with said plans,
<br />profiles, detailed drawings and specifications a map or plat showing the
<br />assessment district of lands benefited by the work and improvements herein
<br />described, which map or plat is entitled "Map Showing Assessment District
<br />under Resolution of Intention No. 1938-511;
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
<br />Redwood City that the man or plat showing the assessment district benefited
<br />by the work and improvements herein described, which map or plat is entitled
<br />"Map Showing Assessment District Under Resolution of Intention No. 1938-5"
<br />be and the same is hereby adopted and approved and said Council does hereby
<br />
