M <br />On motion of Councilman Hohn, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the Council adjourned <br />to 6:45 P. M., Tuesday, August 16, 1938. <br />BEM:HAS <br />r <br />City Clerk <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL' <br />AUGUST 16'9'1935 <br />6:45 P. M. <br />Upon roll call the following were present: Councilmen H. F. Anderson, E. A. Fletcher, <br />Wm. Hohn, Robert N. Jones, Geo. W. McNulty, and City Clerk B. E. Myers;.absent, <br />Mayor L. C. Christensen and Councilman P. A. McCarthy. <br />In the absence of Mayor Christensen, Councilman R. N. Jones was chosen as Mayor Pro <br />Tem and chairman of the meeting on motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded by <br />Councilman Hohn. <br />Ordinance (No. 413) calling a special election for the purpose of incurring bonded <br />indebtedness for City Hall and Library was introduced on motion of Councilman <br />Anderson, seconded by Councilmen McNulty. <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Anderson, the Council took <br />a recess until 8:00 P. M. <br />8:00 P. M. <br />iUpon roll call the following were present: Councilmen H. F. Anderson, Wm. Hohn, <br />l Robert N. Jones, Geo. W. McNulty, and City Clerk B. E. Myers; absent, Mayor <br />L. C. Christensen, Councilmen E. A. Fletcher and P. A. McCarthy. <br />Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman McNulty, proposed the final passage and <br />adoption of Ordinance No. 412 fixing the amount of money to be raised by <br />taxation. Unanimously carried. <br />Both the Sadler matter and the gertz and Son matter were laid over until the next <br />l meeting because there was some difference of opinion, and also because there <br />were only four members of the Council present. <br />On motion of Councilman Hohn, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the Council adjourned <br />to 8:00 P.
