Will you <br />please confirm the above authorization?" <br />Authorization to accept the payment was given on motion of Councilman Jones, <br />seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />�i The William Sadler matter which had been laid over from a previous meeting was <br />I , <br />brought up for decision, and on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by <br />Councilman Jones, permission was given to erect a new type fire proof structure <br />i <br />at the northwest corner of Lincoln and E1 Camino Real according to plans and <br />i <br />t specifications presented, with the understanding that there would be at least <br />a 6 -inch space left between the building and the property line. (Recommended <br />by the Planning Commission). <br />j In connection with the request of Kertz and Son in remodeling their building at <br />160 Maple Street, permission was given as requested with the understanding that <br />the set back requirement would be waived for that particular lot. (Recommended <br />by the Planning Commission). <br />Upon the statement that only one directional sign between Redwood City and San Francisco <br />said anything about Redwood City, the Clerk was instructed, on motion of Councilman <br />Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Anderson, to ask the State Automobile Associa- <br />tion whether or not it would be possible to have more signs indicating Redwood City. <br />Councilman Jones, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, proposed adoption of resolution <br />urging State Highway Commission to widen E1 Camino Real from Redwood City to <br />Palo Alto.
