1 <br />On motion of Councilman Beeger, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the Council endorsed the Pacific <br />International Air Pageant to be held at the Curtis Aright Flying Field, San Mateo, December 16 <br />and 17, and the Clerk was instructed to communicate this fact to those interested.. <br />The City Attorney reported on his trip to Los Angeles in,connection with the recent Lakeport <br />decision affecting 1915 Act bonds and delinquencies. He explained that the appeal was on a <br />demurrer and that the attorneys thought best to petition for rehearing. He said it was pos— <br />sible that if the rehearing were not successful, that the matter would then go to trial in the <br />Superior Court and later it might even be appealed, so that the matter might be held in abey— <br />ance many months. <br />The circular letter from Edward F. Holl concerning a Grand Central Terminal for transportation'4:,. <br />facilities coming across the bay bridges and up the peninsula was referred to Councilman <br />McCarthy. <br />V. L. Doppee's application for a reduction of his plumber's license was again brought up but no <br />action was taken. <br />Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman McNulty, offered resolution adopting plane and <br />specifications for the construction of a concrete reservoir and pipe line in the Emerald <br />Lake district including authorization to advertise for bids for the work shown in said plans <br />and specifications. Unanimously carried. <br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, offered resolution setting forth the <br />minimum compensation to be paid to skilled and unskilled labor in the construction of the <br />concrete reservoir and pipe line in the Emerald Lake district.
