County of San Mateo, State of California. <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that <br />said property be.and the same is hereby ordered sold at private.sale by the. <br />City Collector after notice of intended sale shall have been published once <br />a week for three (3) successive weeks in the Redwood City Tribune, a newspaper <br />of general circulation, published in said City,of Redwood City, and after a <br />copy of said notice shall have been mailed to the party to whom each of said <br />parcels was assessed on the last assessment roll of said City nearest before <br />the date of sale, postage prepaid and registered, at his last post office <br />address at least twenty-one (21) days before the date of said intended sale. <br />Said notice shall contain the time and place of said intended sale, a <br />P <br />description of the property to be sold, sufficient for identification, the <br />smallest sum which said City will accept for said property, together with a <br />statement that if redemption of said property is not effected according to <br />law, prior to said date of sale, that all right of redemption shall cease. <br />At the time and place fixed for said intended sale, if no redemption of <br />said property to be sold has been effected according to law, the City Col- <br />lector shall sell said property at private sale at the time fixed therefor, <br />or at any time not more than three (3) months thereafter. <br />And said Council further determines and fixes the time and place for the <br />sale of said property above described to be on the 14th day of February, 1939 <br />at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M, of said day and at the office of the City Col- <br />lector in the auditorium of the Firehouse on Middlefield Road between Main <br />Street and Jefferson Avenue in said City of Redwood City. <br />Bids for said property shall be either in cash or upon terms and shall be <br />in writing and if upon terms the bidder shall specify the terms upon which he <br />proposes to purchase any of said property advertised that he desires to pur- <br />chase. Said bids shall be upon such terms and conditions as are acceptable <br />to the Council of the City of Redwood City. <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />shall have the right to reject any or all proposals for the purchase of any <br />or all of said property advertised to be sold as aforesaid." <br />Carried <br />The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Council- <br />man Jones. <br />.Adjournment. <br />City Clerk <br />Ic <br />
