101 <br />Brewer and Kelley concerning the construction of sidewalk on Mrs. Hallett Is <br />property'and also at the corner of Hamilton and Theatre Streets. <br />Councilman McCarthy, for the committee consisting of himself, Councilman Anderson <br />and Hohn, said they were not ready to make a complete report on the license <br />ordinance. There was a further discussion concerning homing pigeons, Mr. <br />Duffy, Mr. Bullivant and Mr. Doolittle also participating. Councilman <br />McCarthy said the committee would continue working on subject of control <br />of pigeons, animals, fouls, in the first residential district. <br />The departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded <br />by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Adjournment. <br />BEM: HAS <br />t�. WI -14 -CAA <br />ity CleA <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 18, 1939 <br />8:00 P. M. <br />Upon roll call the following councilmen were present:, H.F. Anderson, <br />E. A. Fletcher, Wm. Hohn, R. N. Jones, P. A. McCarthy, G. W. McNulty, <br />Mayor L. C. Christensen and City Clerk B. E. Myers. <br />The minutes of the meeting of December 4 were approved on motion of Council- <br />man Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty. <br />Brassy & Niccoli Realty Company asked permission to erect two large signs, <br />one at the office and one at the subdivision in Oakwood Park. On <br />motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Jones, per- <br />mission to erect the sign at the office was denied, but permission <br />was given to erect the sign as requested at the subdivision with the <br />understanding that if and when E1 Camino Real is widened, the firm <br />would move the sign back at its own expense. <br />Mr. E. Lovell, P. 0. Box 166, asked permission to subdivide Lot 6, Block 13, <br />Oak Knoll Manor, according to sketch submitted. Permission was granted <br />1 <br />9 <br />
