AN D,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEDthatthe Council .of the City of Redwood City shall meet at their regular place of meeting in the City Mall on Middlefield Road in said City of Redwood Gity-at the hour of 8:00 o' clock P. :;i. on the Monday followingthe day of said general municipal election to canvass said returns and declare the result of said general municipal election. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council :of .the City of Redwood City that at said. general municipal election_ to be held on the said 9th day of April, 1940, in the City of Redwood City, the polls shall, be opened at 6:00 o'clock in the morning of the day of said general municipal .election_ and shall remain open until 7:00 o'clock of the evening of said day, schen the polls shallb.e, closed. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that all acts and things required by law or ordinance or this resolution, to be done .by any officer of said City of Red- wood City for the purpose of holding said general municipal election in said City on the 9th day of April:,, 1940, be and the same shall be done and all officers of the City of Redwood City having any duty to perform under the laws of the State of 'California,.or ordinances of said City of Redwood City, or this xesolu.tion, in reference to said general municipal, election hereinbefore referred to, are directed to perform such duties in time, form and manner, as: required by such laws, ordinances or resolution." Further checcing and verification of title was required, but authority to advertise was asked when this work had been completed rather than delay until the next council meeting. On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Andersons the City Manager was so instructed. 11WHEREAS the City of Redwood City has become the owner of the real property hereinafter described which was sold for taxes and the deeds to said city coverinm said real property have been recorded, and WHEREAS in the judgment of the Council of the City of Red- wood City, said. Council deems it advisable that such property, and each and all of the various pieces thereof, be sold and the sale of the same is hereby authorized. And said Council further determines that the minimum amount f'or which each of said parcels of land: shall be sola is the amount set opposite the description of each of the parcels Hereinafter set forth and said Council does hereby fix said various separate amounts as the eeplrate minimum amounts for which each piece of property must be sold.
