M. <br />Upon roll call the following were present: Councilmen H. F. Anderson, E. A. Fletcher, <br />Wm. Hohn, R. N. Jones, P. A. McCarthy, Mayor L. C. Christensen, and City Clerk B. E. <br />Myers; absent, Councilman G. W. McNulty. <br />City Manager Dimmitt filed a letter with the Council concerning the action he took with <br />Mrs. Rose Solari about movings. house from 1012 Main Street to a new location on <br />Manzanita Street, in which he indicated Mrs. Solari was not willing to comely with <br />the minimum requirements he set up. <br />There was submitted a resolution consenting to the enforcement of public health statutes <br />and regulations by the County'of San Mateo Health Department within the City of <br />Redwood City. After discussion in which the City Attorney and John W. Fickeisen, <br />Inspector for the San Mateo County Department of Public Health and Welfare, partici- <br />pated, Councilman Fletcher proposed the adoption of the following resolution and was <br />seconded by Councilman Anderson. <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />County of San Mateo, State of California <br />CONSENTING TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF PUBLIC <br />HEALTH STATUTES AND REGULATIONS BY THE <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATEO HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS THE CITY COUNCIL HAS DETERMINED that public interest and <br />efficiency will be best served when the enforcement of all statutes re- <br />lating to the public health and to vital statistics and all rules pre- <br />scribed by the State Board of Health is undertaken by the San Mateo <br />1 <br />
