16 <br />Councilman Anderson, the City Manager was instructed to arrange to let Mr. Nelson <br />have these lots provided he increase his proposal to the minimum figure. <br />Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Anderson, proposed that the attorney be <br />instructed to draw up an ordinance amending any present ordinances the city may <br />have respecting the number of dogs to be allowed at one location. M. <br />Upon roll call the following were present: Councilmen H. F. Anderson, E. A. Fletcher, <br />R. N. Jones, P. A. McCarthy, G. W. McNulty, Mayor L. C. Christensen, and City <br />Clerk B. E. Myers; absent, Councilman Wm. Hohn. <br />The minutes of the meeting of February 6 and adjourned meeting of February 14 were <br />approved on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McCarthy. <br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, permission was granted <br />to Mr. G. Puga of 1826 Middlefield Road to construct an Associated service station <br />at the northwesterly corner of El Camino Real and Center St. <br />Mr. Doxsee'requested permission to erect 61 x 10t signs on Bayshore Highway north o£ <br />Brewster Street on the Tacoma Mill property and on El Camino Real at Avondale <br />Avenue on the property of Mr. Doxsee. Permission was granted, revocable at the <br />pleasure of the Council, provided that the property owners' permission were obtained, <br />that the sign did not conflict with the recent real estate sign ordinance, and that <br />it be placed on the particular site under the supervision of the City Manager. <br />Application of William J. Scott, 548 E1 Camino Real, San Carlos, for plumber's license <br />was received and granted on motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman <br />Anderson, provided the bond promised by Merritt R.
