1 <br />In line with the work to be performed under Resolutions of Intention Nos. <br />194o-3 and 1940-4, Councilman Edmonds, seconded by Councilman Christensen, <br />proposed adoption of the following resolution. Overtime for truck drivers and tractor drivers at the rate of <br />time and one half after the regular time, regardless of climatic conditions. <br />Work time for laborers shall be reckoned by, the half day and full day. <br />Overtime for laborers at the rate of time and one half for the first four <br />hours after first eight, and between 6:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M. all time there- <br />after double time. <br />Work time for all other crafts shall be reckoned by the half day and <br />full day except in case of inclement weather or incompetence when time <br />shall be reckoned by the hour. Overtime for all other crafts to be one <br />and one half times the rates hereinabove described. <br />Overtime for cement finishers double the regular rate. <br />Overtime shall be reckoned by the hour or half hour except as other- <br />wise noted. <br />Men order to report for work for whom no employment is provided shall <br />be paid for two hour's wort: at the rate applying to the job. <br />All foremen shall receive $1.00 per day minimum above the highest rate <br />paid laborers over whom they have supervision. <br />The foregoing schedule of per diem wages is based upon a working day <br />of eight hours except as otherwise noted. <br />
