HE 1 <br />"0 <br />seconded by Councilman•Werder, Chief Collins was asked to make a survey <br />of the situation and report his suggestions at the next meeting. <br />The City Manager asked approval of the Council for the construction of a twelve - <br />inch cast iron water main extending from Adams Street along Vera Avenue to <br />E1 Camino Real and along the westerly side of E1 Camino Real from Vera to <br />Brewster Avenue,, the estimated cost being $15,000. Approval was granted <br />and the work was authorized. <br />f ' <br />The City Manager was authorized to sign an agreement with the State Department <br />of Public Works so that the construction of sanitary sewer along E1 Camino <br />Real between Woodside Road and Maple Street might be included in the high- <br />way construction contract, the City to pay for same in accordance with <br />the unit prices bid, plus incidental expenses. <br />The departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />The approved claims, Nos. 6+60 to 6515, were ordered paid on motion of Council- <br />man McNulty, seconded by Councilman Christensen. <br />On motion of Councilman.Edmonds, seconded by Councilman Werder, the Council <br />adjourned this meeting out of respect to the memory of former Mayor Asa E. <br />Hull of San Carlos. <br />City Clerk <br />BEM: HAS <br />0 <br />
