D <br />�1 <br />i <br />197 <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 15, 1940 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />Upon roll call, the following Councilmen were ;present: L. C. Christensen, <br />H. W. Edmonds, F. D. Granger, G. W. McNulty, W. M. Werder, Mayor H. F. <br />Anderson, and City Clerk B. E. Myers; absent, Councilman E. A. Fletcher. <br />The minutes of the meeting of July 1 were approved on motion of Councilman <br />Christensen, seconded by Councilman Werder. <br />Councilman Edmonds, seconded by Councilman Werder, moved the adoption of <br />resolution accepting; deed from the Redwood City Harbor Company for 1.99 <br />acres recently purchased. Carried. <br />In connection with improvement 1940-4, there was submitted and ordered filed <br />affidavits of posting; notices of improvement, and publication. Follow- <br />ing this, there was read a letter from James A. Miller protesting the <br />work and indicating the amount of damages he would suffer if the work <br />were done. The City Engineer indicated that a majority of the area <br />represented had not protested, and therefore Councilman McNulty, second- <br />ed by Councilman Christensen, proposed adoption of the following resolu- <br />tion.
