f On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Christensen, the vote of <br />city employees at an election held on March 10, 1941, for the purpose of de- <br />termining approval or disapproval of the proposal of the City Council to <br />enter into a contract with the Board of Administration of the State Employees <br />Retirement System to include said employees in said retirement system was <br />ordered set forth in the minutes of this meeting, as follows: <br />�s <br />City Policemen: <br />Number votes cast 10 <br />Number votes -in -favor of retirement system 10 <br />' Number votes not in favor of retirement system None <br />j City Firemen:, <br />Number votes cast <br />Number votes in favor of retirement system S <br />Number votes not in favor of retirement system None <br />v <br />City Employees other than City Firemen and Policemen: <br />Number votes cast 34 <br />Number votes in favor of retirement system 31 <br />Number votes not in favor of retirement system 3 <br />The matter of the city entering into a contract with the Board of Administration <br />of the State Employees Retirement System was ordered placed on the agenda <br />for the next meeting. <br />On motion of Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, the City Manager <br />!. was authorized to enter into a contract with the California State Personnel <br />Board for the performance of services incident to preparation and rating d'f <br />examinations as required by the City's Personnel system. <br />Departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />Approved claims aggregating $10,204.94 were ordered paid on motion of Councilman <br />McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Adjournment to 5:00 o'clock, March 31, 1941. <br />t <br />C.
