<br />PROPOSITION NO. 3 Shall the City of Redwood City incur a bonded indebtedness

<br />provements to the yacht harbor and baseball grounds, lighting tennis courts,
<br />additional park, playground and recreational equipment and apparatus for
<br />existing recreational areas, landscaping existing recreational areas, and
<br />all other works, properties and structures necessary or convenient for the
<br />improvement of the existing public playground and recreational areas of the
<br />City of Redwood City?

<br />AND WHEREAS, said ordinance calling and ordering said election was duly
<br />published as required by law and by said ordinance, as appears from the
<br />affidavits of publication on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
<br />City of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, it -appears that said special election was held in accordance
<br />with law and with said call, on the said 25th day of March, 1941, as afore-
<br />said, and that the polls for said election were kept open during the time
<br />required by law, and that said election was held and conducted, and the votes
<br />thereat received and canvassed, 'and the returns thereof ascertained, deter-
<br />mined and declared, all as provided by the laws of the State of California:,
<br />and by said ordinance; and I
<br />WHEREAS, on this day, to -wit, Monday, the 31st day of March, 1941,
<br />at the hour of eight o'clock P. M., the Council of,said City of Redwood
<br />City met at its usual place of meeting and has canvassed the returns of
<br />said special election as required by law, and the result of said canvass
<br />is found to be as hereinafter stated and set forth:
<br />IT IS HEREBY'RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND DECLARED by the Council of the
<br />City of Redwood City, as follows:
<br />1. - That the propositions voted upon at said special election were as.

<br />dredging, turning basin and waterfront improvementa,,spur tracks and rail-
<br />road facilities, streets, roadways and approaches to the harbor, mechanical
<br />cargo handling appliances, and such works, structure's or properties as may
<br />be necessary or convenient for the accomodation of shipping by rail and water
<br />and facilitating the commerce of the Port of Redwood City?
<br />PROPOSITION NO. 2 Shall the City of Redwood City incur a bonded indebted -

<br />object and purpose of acquiring, constructing and completing the following

<br />recreational facilities, including land, landscaping, park, playground and
<br />recreational equipment and apparatus, and all other works, properties and
<br />structures necessary or convenient for new and additional public park, play-
<br />ground and recreational facilities of the City of Redwood City?
