W. & M. <br />Subdivision, with Herbert Reeder for the sum of $1200.0.0, payable <br />$50.00 down, the balance to be paid at the,rate of $10,00 per month <br />with 6% interest. <br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher and seconded by Councilman_ McNulty, the <br />following position classification changes, adopted by the Board of Re- <br />view at its meeting May 8, 1941, were approved. Eliminate position <br />classifications of: <br />1. Typist Clerk I <br />2. Typist Clerk II <br />3..'Clerk Stenographer <br />and substitute therefor the following new classifications: <br />1. Typist Clerk <br />2. Junior Account Clerk' <br />3. Cashier Account Clerk I <br />4, Cashier Account -Clerk II <br />5. Secretary <br />The City Manager,in a letter addressed to the Councii,explained that in <br />March, 1939, the California Chrysanthemum Growers Association deposited <br />with the City the sum of $1500 to pay for .a .b=.inch cast iron vvlater main'`laid <br />along a right of way granted by them to serve members, with an agree= <br />ment that the advance would be refunded during a. four year'period in <br />an amount equal to ten per cent of gross revenue derived by the City <br />from this line. The gross revenue from May, 1939., the beginning of <br />service, until January 1, 1941, was $6,547.51, and approval of a claim <br />in the amount of $654.75 as a refund in accordance with the terms of <br />the agreement was requested. Approval given on motion of Councilman <br />Christensen and seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />On motion of Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman Fletcher,, claim of <br />Hedman Manufacturing Company, in the amount of $27.00 for renewal of, <br />mechanical service on Check Writer and $10,000.00 Forgery and Check <br />Alteration Board for a period of two years from May 21, 1941, was <br />approved. <br />A resolution accepting a deed from Alma E. Clarke to a portion of Lots 3 <br />and 4, Oak Knoll Manor was unanimously adopted on motion of Councilman <br />Fletcher and seconded by Councilman Christensen. <br />Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Christensen, proposed the adop- <br />tion of the following resolution: <br />"RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has become the <br />I owner of the real property hereinafter described which was sold for <br />taxes and deeds to said City covering said real property have been re= <br />corded, and <br />11-3a,,�. <br />`.x`` " <br />a <br />
