344 <br />C <br />ANNUAL MEETING <br />BOARD OF EQUALIZATION <br />AUGUST 11, 1941 <br />10:00 A. M. <br />Upon roll call the following councilmen were present: L. C. Christensen, <br />E. A. Fletcher, F. D. Granger, G. W. McNulty, W. M. Werder, Mayor <br />H. F. Anderson, and City Clerk C. W. Eltringham; absent, Councilman <br />H. W. Edmonds. <br />The Council sat as a Board of Equalization at this time. The assessment <br />rolls had been delivered to the City Clerk and were made available . <br />to the public for examination. Advertisement had been made In the <br />Redwood City Tribune for two weeks. <br />The only complaint was a letter from Jerome F. MacDonald, relative to <br />property located at 510 Hudson Street, Redwood City,-Arb. Block 137, <br />Lot 9 A. The City Assessor advised that this property was assessed <br />for 2,900.00 for the year 1940-41 but for the year 1941-42 the assessed <br />valuation had been reduced to $2,540.00. The Board felt this valuation, <br />was equitable and on motion of Councilman -Christensen, seconded by <br />Councilman Werder, the assessment rolls were approved as equalized. <br />Adjournment. <br />WE: 14M C. M. <br />Upon roll call the following were present: Councilmen L. C, Christensen, <br />E. A. Fletcher, F. D. Granger, G. W. McNulty, W. M. Werder, Mayor <br />H.t:F. Anderson, and City Clerk C. W. Eltringham; absent, Councilman <br />H. W. Edmonds. Also present were City Manager C. L. Dimmitt, City <br />Attorney Albert Mansfield, and Chief of Police C. L. Collins. <br />The City Attorney submitted an ordinance fixing the amount of money to be <br />raised by taxation for the fiscal year 1941-42 and the ordinance <br />was introduced on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Council- <br />man Fletcher. <br />i <br />11 <br />r <br />11 <br />
