The following resolution was unanimously adopted on motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman Fletcher: °RESOLUTION APPROVING DIAGRAM OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1941-2,. AND DESIGNATING NEWSPAPER RESOLVED by the 'Council of the City, of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, that the diagram of the assessment district un- der,Resolution of Intention No. 1941-2. passed -and adopted by,.the,Council of the City of Redwood City on the 7th day of April, 19412 as said diagram has been prepared by C. L. Dimmitt, Street Superintendent of said. City of Redwood City, and submitted this 11th day of August, 1941, be and the same is hereby adopted as the diagram of the assessment district for the work described in said Resolution of Intention No: 1941-2, which Resolution of Intention No. 1941-2 is iiow on file in the office of -the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and to which reference is hereby made for a description of the work herein referred to; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood•City, County of San Mateo, State of California, that the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper;published, printed and circulated in said City of Redwood City, be and the same is hereby designated as the newspaper -in which to pub- lish the °Notice'of Filing Street Assessment and of Time Fixed.for Hearing Thereon" for work done under said Resolution of Intention No'. 194172 of said Council hereinabove referred to herein. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City, at a:n adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day of August, 1941, by the following vote:. ANDERSON Mayor of the City of Redwood Uity' The proposed ordinance regulating the height of fences and hedges was again discussed and in view of the many protests against regulating the height of hedges, the'Council decided to eliminate this provision from the ordi- nance and directed the City Attorney to submit at the next meeting an ordinance regulating the height of fences only. On motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, Henry'Witte7 was appointed a member of the Planning Commission for a six year term, be- ginning June, 1941. :E
