In response to an inquiry by Councilman Granger, the Building Inspector advised that remodeling of the -entrance to a house at 1926 Jefferson Avenue was underway. , On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Christensen, City Manager and City Treasurer were authorized to investigate a proposal by Stone & Youngberg Co. for sale of certain securiti.es_owned.by the City a'nd reinvestment in other securities which may produce a higher rate of income and to take whatever action may be advisable.
