<br />positions and.of the sizes and dimensions and.of.the materials as
<br />shown and described on the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and
<br />specifications adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on
<br />the 20th day of October, 1941, and now on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said City, to which plans, profiles, detailed drawings and
<br />specifications reference is hereby made for a.complete description
<br />and location of said work and improvements and for further particulars,
<br />and the same are made -.a part hereof.
<br />And: the Council of the City of Redwood -City does hereby determine'
<br />and declare that the foregoing described work and improvements are of
<br />more,than local or ordinary public benefit -and will affect and benefit
<br />the lands and district hereinafter mentioned, which said district is
<br />hereby declared to be the district benefited by said work and improve-
<br />ments; that therefore the entire costs and expenses of said work and
<br />improvements shall be and are hereby made charge.b e a inst and shall
<br />be assessed upon said lands and district', which/�1 h n the limits
<br />of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California';

<br />and shown on a certain map or plat entitled "Map Showing Assessment Dis-
<br />trict Under Resolution of Intention No. 1941-3"'which map or plat was
<br />adopted and approved by the Council of the City of Redwood City on the
<br />20th day of October, 1541, and which map or plat is now on file in the
<br />office of'the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and to which map or
<br />plat reference is hereby made for an accurate and complete description .
<br />and location of said assessment district and the same is made a part
<br />hereof; provided, however, that all streets, circles and parks or por-
<br />tions thereof included within said assessment district and.shown on
<br />the map or plat thereof shall be Omi'tyted from any assessment levied
<br />for the costs and expenses of the work aforesaid, said streets, circles
<br />and parks or portions thereof now being in public use as public streets,
<br />circles and parks. r,
<br />And notice is hereby given and the Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City does determine that serial bonds bearing interest at the "rate of
<br />six per cent per annum from their date shall be issued as provided by
<br />Section 5 of Article 1 of Ordinance No. 333 of the City of Redwood City,
<br />commonly known as "Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance°•to
<br />represent each assessment of twenty-five .dollars ($25) or over for the
<br />costs and expenses of said work and improvements: Said bonds shall
<br />extend from their date over a period of five (5) years .from the 2nd
<br />day of January -next succeeding the 15th day of the..next November fol-
<br />lowing their -date. All work provided for herein shall be done as pro-
<br />vided in Section 3 of Article 1 -of Ordinance No-'.333,of the City of
<br />Redwood City,•commonly known as,°Redwood City Improvement Procedure
<br />brdinance°, which ordinance was passed and adopted by:.the Council of
<br />the City of Redwood City on the.l4th day of March, 19322 and is now
<br />of record and:°on file in the office of the Clerk of said.City of Red-
<br />wood City and''to which -reference isherebymade and the same made a
<br />part- hereof.
<br />•• AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday the 17th day of November,
<br />1941, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. of said day, at the Council
<br />Chamber of the Council of the City of Redwood City in the City Hall
<br />on Middlefield Road in said City, has been and is hereby fixed as the
<br />day, hour'and place whenriand where any and all persons having any ob-
<br />jections to the proposed work and ,improvements described herein, or
<br />to the grades at which said•wo•rk and, improvements are to,be, done and
<br />made, or to the district proposed to be assessed for said work and im-
<br />provements, may appear before said Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be
<br />carried out and done in accordance with said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. 1941-3, or why said work and improvements should not be carried
<br />out and done At the grades as shown on the plans, profiles and detailed
<br />drawings referred to. herein.
<br />The Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspaper pub-
<br />lished, printed and circulated in said City of Redwood City, is hereby
<br />designated by the Council of the City of Redwood City as the newspaper' .ln
<br />which to publish this Resolution of Intention as."required by law, and the.
<br />Clerk of the City of Redwood City is -hereby ordered and directed to cause
<br />this Resolution of Intention to be published in said newspaper twice as
<br />.required by law.
