Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of Octo- ber, 1941, by the following vote: Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen'L.*C. ANDERSON Mayor of the City of Redwood City' On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Christensen, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: °RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 140. 1941-3 RESOLVED by.,the Council of the City of Redwood City that in the opinion of said Council the public interest and convenience require and that it is the intention of said Council to order the following -work to be done and improvements to be made in said City of Redwood. City, to -wit: That the northeasterly side of E1 Camino Real between Man- zanita Street and Charter Street and also the southwesterly side of said El Camino Real between Lincoln Avenue and Center Street be improved by being graded and having constructed thereon and therein cement concrete sidewalks four (4) inches thick and five (5) feet wide, said sidewalks to be laid upon a base m4bushion of sand at least two (2) inches in thickness and of the full width of said sidewalks; and that'cement concrete combined curbs and gutters be constructed within the limits above described on'both sides of El Camino Real. There is hereby excepted from the hereinbefore described work and improvements any parts thereof that is already done to the line and grade as shown on the plans; profiles and specifi- cations mentioned herein. The width of the sidewalks hereinbefore mentioned are to be and are as shown on the plans, profiles and detailed drawings here- in after referred to herein. All the work provided for herein shall be done and made to the grades, as shown on the plans, profiles and detailed drawings, which grades are hereby adopted as the official grades for said work and improvements, and reference is hereby made to the plans, profiles and detailed drawings for a description of the grades at which said work is to be done and said improvements made and the same are made a part hereof.
