z <br />■ <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 15,'1941 <br />5:00 P. M. <br />Unon roll call the following were present: Councilmen L. C. Christensen, <br />F. D. Granger, G. W. McNulty, W. M. Werder, Mayor H..F. Anderson, and <br />City Clerk C. W. Eltringham; absent,,Councilmen E.'A. Fletcher and <br />H. W. 'Edmonds. Also present were'City Manager C. L. Dimmitt, City <br />Attorney Albert Mansfield, City Collector Nelle L.�Miramontes, Chief <br />o'f Police C. L. Collins, Chief of Fire Department M. E, Ryan, Building <br />Inspector L. -M. Duncan -and Superintendent of Park$ -Roger Walsh. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting of December let and the special meetings <br />of December 8th -and 9th were approved on motion of Councilman Werder, <br />seconded by Councilman McNulty. <br />On motion of Councilman Werder, 'seconded by Councilman Christensen, and car- <br />ried by roll call by the unanimous•vote of all councilmen present, an <br />ordinance entitled "An ordinance authorizing the exchange of certain <br />property owned by the City of Redwood City or to be acquired by the City <br />of Redwood City" was passed and adopted. Said ordinance is numbered'469 <br />and was introduced on the 8th Day of December, 1941, and is of record in <br />Ordinance Book 4 at page 25, and authorized the exchange of•6.55,acres <br />more or less of Lot 1 as shown on the .map of Subdivisions of Sweeney <br />Ranch for a parcel of land containing 5.22 acres and also being a portion <br />of Lot 1, Subdivision of Sweeney Ranch. ,.' <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty.,?seconded by Oouncilman Christ.ensen,.and <br />carried by roll call by the unanimous vote of all councilmen present, <br />an ordinance entitled "An ordinance authorizing the exbhange•of certain <br />property owned by the. City of Redwood City or to be acquired by the City <br />of Redwood City" was passed and adopted. Said ordinance is'numbered 470 <br />and was introduced on the 5th day of December, 1941, and is of record in <br />Ordinance Book 4 at page 26, and authorized the Axchange of -5.55 acresF <br />r' <br />'being a portion of Lot 1, Subdivisions of Sweeney Ranch for a 2 acre portion <br />of Lot 10 as shown on that certain map entitled "Map of Certain Lands be- <br />longing to Redwood City Harbor Company <br />On motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman McNulty, and car- <br />ried by roll call by the unanimous vote of all councilmen present, an <br />ordinance entitled "An ordinance of the City of Redwood City for Defense <br />Purposes and Necessity" was passed and adopted. Said ordinance is numbered <br />471 ana was introduced on the 9thday of December, 1941,-and.'is of record <br />in Ordinance Book 4 at page 27. <br />409 <br />
