z ■ MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 15,'1941 5:00 P. M. Unon roll call the following were present: Councilmen L. C. Christensen, F. D. Granger, G. W. McNulty, W. M. Werder, Mayor H..F. Anderson, and City Clerk C. W. Eltringham; absent,,Councilmen E.'A. Fletcher and H. W. 'Edmonds. Also present were'City Manager C. L. Dimmitt, City Attorney Albert Mansfield, City Collector Nelle L.�Miramontes, Chief o'f Police C. L. Collins, Chief of Fire Department M. E, Ryan, Building Inspector L. -M. Duncan -and Superintendent of Park$ -Roger Walsh. The minutes of the regular meeting of December let and the special meetings of December 8th -and 9th were approved on motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman McNulty. On motion of Councilman Werder, 'seconded by Councilman Christensen, and car- ried by roll call by the unanimous•vote of all councilmen present, an ordinance entitled "An ordinance authorizing the exchange of certain property owned by the City of Redwood City or to be acquired by the City of Redwood City" was passed and adopted. Said ordinance is numbered'469 and was introduced on the 8th Day of December, 1941, and is of record in Ordinance Book 4 at page 25, and authorized the exchange of•6.55,acres more or less of Lot 1 as shown on the .map of Subdivisions of Sweeney Ranch for a parcel of land containing 5.22 acres and also being a portion of Lot 1, Subdivision of Sweeney Ranch. ,.' On motion of Councilman McNulty.,?seconded by Oouncilman Christ.ensen,.and carried by roll call by the unanimous vote of all councilmen present, an ordinance entitled "An ordinance authorizing the exbhange•of certain property owned by the. City of Redwood City or to be acquired by the City of Redwood City" was passed and adopted. Said ordinance is'numbered 470 and was introduced on the 5th day of December, 1941, and is of record in Ordinance Book 4 at page 26, and authorized the Axchange of -5.55 acresF r' 'being a portion of Lot 1, Subdivisions of Sweeney Ranch for a 2 acre portion of Lot 10 as shown on that certain map entitled "Map of Certain Lands be- longing to Redwood City Harbor Company On motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman McNulty, and car- ried by roll call by the unanimous vote of all councilmen present, an ordinance entitled "An ordinance of the City of Redwood City for Defense Purposes and Necessity" was passed and adopted. Said ordinance is numbered 471 ana was introduced on the 9thday of December, 1941,-and.'is of record in Ordinance Book 4 at page 27. 409
