NOTICE OF
<br />SALE OF
<br />PROPERTY
<br />by the
<br />City of Redwood City
<br />WHEREAS the -City of Redwood
<br />City has become the owner of the
<br />real property hereinafter described
<br />which was sold for taxes and the
<br />deeds to said City covering said
<br />real property have been recorded,
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS in the judgment of
<br />the Council of the City of Red-
<br />wood City, said Council deems it
<br />advisable that such property, and
<br />each and all of the various pieces
<br />- thereof, be sold and the sale of
<br />' the same is hereby authorized,
<br />And said Council further deter-
<br />mines that the minimum amount
<br />for which each of -said parcels of
<br />j land shall be sold is the amount
<br />set opposite the description of
<br />each of the parcels hereinafter set
<br />forth and said Council does hereby
<br />fix said various Separate amounts
<br />as the separate minimum amounts
<br />for which each piece of property
<br />' must be sold.

<br />Said property will be sold at
<br />private sale by the City Collector
<br />on the 15th day of June, 1939, at
<br />the hour of ten o'clock a. m, of
<br />said day and in the office of the
<br />City Collector in the City Hall on
<br />Middlefield Road between Main
<br />Street and Jefferson Avenue In
<br />said City of Redwood . City.
<br />At the time and place fixed for
<br />said intended sale, if no redemp-
<br />tion of said property to be sold
<br />has been effected according to
<br />law, the City Collector will sell
<br />said property as aforesaid at the
<br />time fixed therefor, or at any time
<br />n8t more than three (3) months
<br />thereafter.
<br />Bids for said property shall be
<br />either In cash or upon terms and
<br />all bids shall be in writing and
<br />If upon terms the bidder shall
<br />specify the terms upon which he
<br />proposes to purchase any of said
<br />property advertised as aforesaid
<br />that he desires to purchase. Said
<br />• bids shall be upon such terms and
<br />conditions as are acceptable to
<br />the Council of the City of • Rod -
<br />wood City.
<br />All bids shall be delivered to
<br />the City Collector either by mail
<br />or left at her office between the
<br />hours of 9:00 a. m. and 5:00 p. m.
<br />on week days and 9:00 a. m. and
<br />12:00 noon on Saturdays.
<br />The Council of the City of Red-
<br />wood City shall have the right to
<br />reject any or all proposals for the
<br />purchase of any or all of said
<br />property advertised to be sold as
<br />aforesaid.
<br />This notice is given pursuant to
<br />the provisions of Ordinance No.
<br />407 of the City of Redwood City,
<br />entitled "Ordinance No. 407. An
<br />Ordinance Amending Section 41
<br />of an Ordinance Entitled 'Ordi-
<br />nance No. 327. An Ordinance Pro-
<br />viding a System for the Assess-
<br />ment, Levy and Collection of all
<br />Taxes In the City of Redwood
<br />City,' passed and adopted by the
<br />Council of the CIty of Redwood
<br />City on the 20th day of July, 1931;'
<br />and which Ordinance No. 407 was
<br />passed and adopted by the Coun-
<br />cil of the City of Redwood City
<br />on the 21st day of March, 1938,
<br />and which Ordinances are now
<br />on file In the office of the Clerk
<br />of the City of Redwood City and
<br />to which reference Is hereby made
<br />and the same are made a part
<br />hereof, and also pursuant to a
<br />resolution of the City Council of
<br />the City of Redwood City direct-
<br />ing this notice of sale passed and
<br />adopted on the 15th day of May,
<br />1939, and now on file In the of-
<br />fice of the Clerk of the City- of
<br />Redwood City and to which refer-
<br />ence Is hereby made and the same
<br />is made a part hereof.
