U <br />'REGULAR MEETING OF BOARD OF EQUALIZATION <br />AEDWOOD CITY'' COUNCIL <br />'AUGUST 14, 1939 <br />10-00 A.M. <br />Upon roll call the following councilmen were present,: H. F. Anderson, <br />E. A. Fletcher, VIm. Hohn, R. N. Jones, G. If.. McNulty, Mayor L. C. <br />Christensen; absent,. Councilman P. A. McCarthy. <br />Pearl Becker of 410 Sainsbn Street, appeared befor; theBoard to pro- <br />test value placed on building at that address, -being Lot 2 in <br />Block 9, Range 1_1.D11, Meze,sville. It was brought out that the <br />garage originally intended for this lot was never built, and it <br />was decided, therefore, to reduce the assessed value from $1200 <br />to, 01140. <br />Mrs. Mary Dielmann, 505 Middlefield Road,,protested the assessed value <br />of Lot Arb- 37779 which had been assessed at $8000. The City <br />Asses,sbr instructed the Clerk to write Mrs. Dielmann that the <br />assessed value against the,property for the fiscal year 1939-40 <br />would be WOO,.
