1 L] Councilman Britschgi asked if there was any way in which the Council could control the lighting in local bars. He specifically mentioned Sodini's and also said that one door was kept locked thereby creating a hazard. Mayor Granger and Council- man McNulty were ef'th a opinion that doors leading into„bars have to be'le ft clear so that they can be seen through. Chieg'Collins explained that -the State Board of'Equalization had madera new vuling because of the fact that women and juveniles passed by 'the bars. He also stated that%a new ordinance was being considered in San'Francisco whereby bars must be yroperly`light-ed or th sir licenses will be revoked. ' City Attorney McCarthy statbd thet the city Attorney of San Francisco had been asked by the Board of Supervisors to get an opinion o ` this subject and that he would see if he could get a copy of the opinion.• Claims No. 3479 to 3532, totaling $10,345.75, were approved and ordered paid',on motio of Councilman McNulty, seconded by*Councilman'Fletcher..
