of California, on July 3, 1940, was unanimously adopted on motion of Counci%man <br />i, Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Britschgi.. <br />Application for restaurant license by James Low, 813 Main Street, was granted on <br />motion of Councilman Britschgi, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Resolution accepting grant -deed dated September 30, 19/2, from Darrell and Hasel <br />Davis was unanimously adopted on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by <br />Councilman Anderson. <br />W) <br />1 <br />by Councilman Anderson. <br />City Attorney was directed to report at the next meeting on the matter'of enacting <br />an ordinance regulating the posting and removal of circus posters and other <br />similar advertising signs. <br />The City Clerk was directed to arrange with the Yellow Cab Company for the parking <br />of ambulances at some location other than on Arguello Street. <br />City Attorney was.directed to submit at the next meeting a local dim-out enforcement <br />ordinance. <br />Clelia Bertini was informed, in answer to her inquiry as to when the City would re- <br />place the bulkhead on the creek at her property on Oak Avenue, that no"action <br />would be taken until she had signed the required waiver of future liability <br />and in event this was not signed by the next meeting all lumber and other ma- <br />terial from the old bulkhead would be removed from the creek and placed on her <br />property. <br />Departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />Approved claims No. 1869 to 1947, aggregating $21,999.10, were ordered paid on mo- <br />tion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Adjournment. <br />CWE:ES <br />C.W.
