I, <br />i <br />I <br />Councilman Granger offered resolution as.folloivs, seconded by Councilman <br />McNulty requesting.consolidation of Special election with the November 7, 1944 <br />general election: <br />RES GLUT ION NO. 142 , <br />REQUESTING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO CONSOLIDATE A BOND ELECTION <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AND AN ELECTION TO APPROVE THE 1911.4 CITYPLANOF SAID CITY <br />WITH THE GENERAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 72 1944. <br />RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City that the <br />Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo be and said Board is hereby <br />requested to consolidate an election for the submission to the qualified <br />electors of the City of Redwood City of a proposition of incurring a bonded <br />debt of $998,000.00 in one bond issue for one gross amount for certain <br />municipal improvements in one group as constituting a city plan and known as <br />the 1941E City Plan of said city; and an election for the approval by said <br />D <br />qualified electors of said city of said 1944 City Plan of said city for a <br />number of municipal improvements in one group with the general election to <br />be held on November 7, 1944; also that said Board of Supervisors be requested <br />to canvass the vote on said proposal for incurring said bonded debt, and on <br />said proposal to approve said 1944 City Plan of municipal improvements in <br />one group. , <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 28th day of August, 1944, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: H. F. Anderson, C. C. Armstrong, E. A. Fletcher, F. D. <br />Granger, Geo. McNulty, W. W. Hilton. <br />Noes and against the adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: None. <br />Absent: Oouncilmen: C. A. Britschgi. <br />W.
