AN ORDI- <br />NANCE FIXING AMOUNT OF <br />SALARY OR COMPENSATION <br />FOR CERTAIN OFFICES AND <br />POSITIONS IN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AND BE - <br />PEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;' <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY ON THE <br />20TH DAY OF JULY, 19112, AND <br />PROVIDING THE AMOUNT Off' <br />SALARY FOR THE CITY <br />CLERK, TREASURER AND <br />AUDITOR. <br />The Council of the City of Red- <br />wood City does ordain as follows, <br />to -wit: <br />SECTION 1. From and after No- <br />vember 23, 1942, and during the <br />balance of the current fiscal year, <br />and until otherwise provided, the <br />salary for the offices of City Clerk, <br />Treasurer and Auditor of said city <br />is 'hereby fixed at the annual <br />amount of THREE THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS (AM.00) for said com- <br />bined offices and made payable <br />semi-monthly on the first and fif- <br />teenth days of each month. <br />SECTION 2. All ordinances or <br />parte of ordinances in conflict here- <br />with are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3. This ordinance shall <br />take effect and be in force from <br />and atter thirty (30) days after its <br />passage and adoption except that <br />the Salary fixed herein shall be ef- <br />fective as of November 23, 1942. <br />The above and foregoing ordi- <br />nance was duly introduced by the <br />Council of the City of Redwood <br />City on the 21st day of December, <br />1942, and a public hearing thereon <br />will be held on the 4th day of Janu- <br />ary, 1943, or on such other date, <br />if any, to which the matter may be <br />postponed. <br />RALPH S.
