Weiner contacted City Attorney McCa.rtny and made nn offer of $626,63 to <br />• clear delinquencies amountinm to $719.66 against Lot 8, Block 7, Lenolt <br />Tract. The delinquencies include taxes, weed ^batement, bond assessments <br />and interest. It rap the general consensus of the Council that no can - <br />cession should be r,�rarted, Councilm^r Rritschmi moved, seconded by Council- <br />man 1101T'zlty, th.ryt the offer be refused. Motion pC ssed unr nimously. <br />Councilman BritscLp•i 1sked if the notice cars ti,ere in poor condition -nd rias <br />advised by Chief Collins that they are now in good condition having just <br />bean repaired. <br />Ll Councilmen Fletcher asked that the Police Chief cheer into the matter of children <br />ridinq bicycles on the sidevm,lks, <br />Councilman Anderson advised that T2r, Peter Barz requested the city to place rock <br />on alley bet ... een Madison Lind Vers. Avenues. The City Vanrrrer was requested <br />to look into the matter of the city repairing this alley and others in the <br />city. <br />' Cour_cilmrm McNulty advised that the si.dexalk on the south side of Redwood Avenue <br />at Five Points was in a bcd condition. He also stated that marbage cans <br />were still on the sidewalk at the Fat Boy Barbecue, <br />Councilmen Bxitschgi advised that someone was putting in a sidevalk at -the inter- <br />section of James Avenue and St. Francis and Ruby Streets and dumping dirt <br />in the fill. It eras his opinion that this would create a serious drainage <br />hazard and asked that it be cheered. <br />Councilman Anderson sugt-ested thvt tn.e same type of polfl used by the junior <br />tx'affic officers in Pc -_10 Alto be used in Redwood City.
