Woodside Acres No. 1, Kentfield Avenue,
between Woodside Road and Palm Avenue from second residental to business
district zone. Inasmuch as this property adjoins business property and it
was indicated that a petition would be filed to change the block to business,
the Planning Commission voted favorably to change the setback line. Coun-
cilman Anderson stated that the foundation had already been poured for
the building and asked by what right work had been done before the council
took action on the change in setback. Building Inspector Duncan advised
that the contractor was not observing the change in setback but that,he
might add a porch or addition to the front later. ,City Attorney McCarthy
advised that inasmuch as changing.the setback would necessitate enactment
of an ordinance action might be deferred until the need arose for the
change. Councilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson, that
action be deferred until change in setback is necessary. Motion passed
unanimously.
7.
