Hedge i <br />Judge: Mrs. Evelyn Tucker <br />Clerk: Mrs. Louise Yandell <br />Clerk: Mrs. Isabelle Sabin I <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />and said Council does hereby declare and determine that the places herein- <br />before mentioned ate suitable and proper places for holding said general <br />municipal election, and are the polling places where elections are usually <br />1, <br />held in said City, and the several persons appointed as election officers <br />as aforesaid have been found and are hereby declared to be qualified for y <br />their respective positions, as required by law, and they are hereby appoint- <br />ed such election officers to conduct said general municipal election and <br />to constitute such Board of Election, and said Board of Election and said <br />election officers shall conduct and are hereby directed to conduct said <br />general municipal election as }y law and this resolution provided, and 1, <br />to canvass the votes to be given and cast as said general municipal elec- <br />tion andto make and deliver returns thereof to the Council of the City of i <br />Redwood City; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />shall meet at their regular place of meeting in the City Hall on Middle- <br />field Road in said City of Redwood City at the hour of 5;00 o(clock P. M. <br />u on April 162 1946, the Tuesday next following the day of said general <br />municipal election to canvass said returns and declare the result of said <br />general municipal election; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that a,! <br />at said general municipal election to be held on the 9th day of April, 1946, <br />in the City of Redwood City, the polls shall be opened at 7:00 o'clock in <br />the morning of the day of said general municipal'election and shall remain (' <br />open until 7:00 o'clock of the evening of said day, when the polls shall <br />be closed; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the Cit of Redwood City that <br />all acts and things required by law or ordinance or this resolution, to be <br />done by any officer of said City of Redwood City for the purpose of holding <br />said general municipal election in said'City on the 9th day of April, 1946, <br />be and the same shall be done and all officers of the City of Redwood City <br />having any duty to perform under the laws of the State of California, or q} <br />ordinances of said City of Redwood City, or this resolution, in reference <br />to said general municipal election hereinbefore referred to, are directed <br />to perform such duties in time, form and manner, as required by such laws) <br />ordinances or resolution. 3; <br />�f I <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a �y <br />regular meeting thereof, held on the 4th day of March, 1946, by the follow- }' <br />ing vote: <br />1 <br />E, <br />AYES: Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSOHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, p <br />McNULTY and HILTON. <br />II <br />NOES: Councilmen: NONE �, <br />
