WU <br />284 RESOLVED that the sum of $150 be and it is herby authorized to be trans- <br />ferred by the City Treasurer from Unbudgeted Reserve to Building Inspector <br />Motor vehicle account No. 4243 and the sum of $50.00 to Corporation Yard <br />Motor vehicle Account No. 4333, said mounts being necessary because of ex- <br />traord nary motor vehicle expenses in these two departments. <br />The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Council <br />of the City of Redwood City at an adjourned meeting thereof held on the 18th <br />of March 19463, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing, resolu- <br />tion: Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, McNULTY <br />Z and HILTON. <br />NOES, and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: ZONE. <br />W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />City Clerk Dodge reported that there was a balance in unbudgeted reserve in <br />the amount of $6735. <br />Claims No. 6615 to 6674 inclusive in the amount of $6706.24 were approved and <br />ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, that the meeting be <br />adjourned until 8:00 P.M., March 200 1946. DODGE City Clerk <br />MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL 16re tr z <br />8:00 P.M. <br />On roll call the following were present: Councilman C.C. ARMSTRONG, E. A. FLETCHER, <br />FLOYD D. GRANGER, GEORGE W. MCNULTY, MAYOR W.W. HILTON and City Clerk R. S. <br />DODGE. Also present were: City Manager E. W. BLOM, City Attorney Paul A. <br />McCARTHY, Street Superintendent H. L. WINTER and Police Chief C. L. COLLINS. <br />Absent: Councilmen H. F. ANDERSON and CARL BRITSCHGI. <br />Mayor Hilton explained that this meeting was for the purpose of awarding bid for <br />the sale of $200,000 bonds. <br />City Clerk Dodge reported that five bids were received before 11:00 A.M., this date, <br />one having been sent special delivery and four delivered personnally. The <br />bids were opened at 11:00 A.M. in City Manager Blom's office in the presence <br />of City Manager Blom, City Clerk Dodge, a representative of the firms of Han- <br />naford and Talbot, Weeden and Company and a representative of the Bank of <br />America who arrived after the bids had begun to be opened.
