I
City to FRANK W. DELUCCHI and VELDA M. DELUCCHI, his wife,. as Joint Tenants,
except for any claim or lien under the Improvement Act of 1911, and directs
the Mayor and City Clerk of said City to execute such deed for and on behalf
of said City. The property herein referred to is situated in the City of
Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California and particularly de-
scribed as follows:
The Southeasterly one-half (1/2), front and rear measurements
of Lot 96, and the Northwesterly one-half (1/2), front and rear meas-
urements, of Lot 97, as shown on that certain map entitled "Map of the
Gray Tract Being a Portion of the McEvoy Tract Redwood City San Mateo
County, California" filed in the office of the County Recorder of
San Mateo County on October 12, 1906 in Book B of Original Maps at
page 23 and copied into Book 4 of Maps at page 38.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of Resolution No. 291
adopted by the -City Council of the City of Redwood Oity, California, at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of March, 1946, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in Redwood City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of said
City this 18th day of March, 1946.
RALPH S. DODGE
City Clerk of the City of Redwood_City
Councilman Anderson offered the above resolution authorizing quitclaim deed from
the City of Redwood Oity to Frank W. and Velda M. Deluochi covering south-
easterly one half (1/2), front and rear measurements of Lot 971 Map of Gray
Tract. Motion seconded by Councilman Granger and carried unanimously on
roll call.
Mr. Ernest Wilson of the firm of Kirkbride and Wilson presented documents in re-
gard to the Redwood Terrace No. 1 Subdivision which, after some discussion,
were held over to the next meeting for action. Mr. Wilson discussed at some
length the advisability of amending Ordinances No. 333 & 515 by which the
contract work and the financing of contracts in regard to improvement proceed-
ings can be divorced from one another. It provides, in short, for the city
to arrange for the selling of bonds before the work starts and for the con-
tractor to be paid in cash. It was Mt. Wilson's contention that this method
would result in a savings in the cost of the work and he advised in answer to
City Attorney McCarthy's question thatuno liability would be incurred by the
city under the 1911 Act if these amendments were adopted. The matter of the
amendments to'the ordinances was held over to the next meeting to allow time
for the City Manager to investigate.`
Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson, that the matter of the
traffic situation at Five Points be referred to the Traffic Study Committee
for a report and recommendation. Motion passed unanimously.
City Clerk Dodge advised that it would be necessary to transfer the sum of #150
from the Unbudgeted Reserve to the Building Inspector Motor Vehicle Account
and the sum of $50 to the Corporation Yard Motor Vehicle Account due to ex-
traordinary motor vehicle expenses in these two departments. Councilman
Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson, adoption of resolution author-
izing transfer of a portion of unbudgeted reserve to Building Inspector and
Corporation Yard motor vehicle account•. On roll'oall, resolution was unani-
mously adopted.
RESOLUTION No. 292
AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF A PORTION OF UNBUDGETED RESERVE TO BUILDING
INSPECTOR AND CORPORATION YARD MOTOR VEHICLE ACCOUNT.
283
