<br />whereas said weeds constitute a public
<br />nuisance,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED thatthe said weeds do now consti-
<br />tute and will continue to constitute a public nuisance and it is hereby
<br />ordered -that the said public nuisance be abated in the manner provided by
<br />Ordinance No. 333 of the City of Redwood Oity, passed and adopted on the
<br />14th day of March, 1932, which ordinance is now,on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of the City of Redwood City and to which ordinance reference is here-
<br />by made and the same is made a part hereof,
<br />The sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways upon
<br />which, and the lots and property upon which such nuisance exists, are all the
<br />sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways and all the lots
<br />and property in said City of Redwood City and all the lots and property
<br />fronting upon any sidewalk, street, avenue, road, boulevard or highway in
<br />said City of Redwood City.
<br />The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redwood City is hereby
<br />directed to give the notice required by said ordinance, and he shall cause
<br />notices to be immediately posted in front of the property, as designated in
<br />this resolution.
<br />Monday, the 15th day of April, 1946s at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m.
<br />of said day, at the meeting place of said Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Middlefield Road in said
<br />City, be and the same is hereby fixed as the day, hour and place when ob-
<br />jections to the removal of -such weeds will be heard and given due consider-
<br />ation, and that said notices sahll be posted at least five (5),days prior
<br />to the time of hearing objections, as fixed by said Council.
<br />The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
<br />Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on
<br />the 18th day of March, 1946, by the following vote:
<br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolu-
<br />tion: Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER,
<br />MCNULTY and HILTON.

<br />Councilman Fletcher offered introduction of ordinance setting the sp.aries of

<br />AUTHORIZING QUITCLAIM DEED FROM THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO FRANK W. DELUOOHI
<br />AND VELDA M. DELUCCHI, HIS WIFE, AS JOINT TENANTS.
<br />WHEREAS, Ralph C. MacArthur, as Tax Collector of the County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California, heretofore sold the real property hereinafter described
<br />for delinquent taxes of the County of San Mateo, and the City of Redwood City,
<br />has received full satisfaction of its lien for taxes and assessments against
<br />said property prior to the fiscal year 1945-46:
<br />RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City that upon pay-
<br />ment to said City of taxes, interest and penalties on the real property here-
<br />inafter described for 1945-460 and the payment and surrender to said City of
<br />Bonds Nos. 163 and 164 Series J-11, local improvement assessment bonds and
<br />assessments Nos 1751 and 1752 diagram No M-5, issued August 3, 1931, and the
<br />payment of Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00) as a reasonable charge for the ser-
<br />vices of this City in obtaining a decree quieting title to said property,
<br />said Council does hereby authorize the execution of a Quitclaim Deed from said
