-
302 Councilman Anderson offered resolution of preliminary determination, Hudson Street
improvements, seconded by Councilman McNulty. Under the question, there
was some discussion in regard to the cost of the proposed improvements. City
Attorney McCarthy read the specifications and advised that the cost of the
improvements would be taken from different funds, some of it being taken
from gas tax funds. City Manager Blom advised that the approximate cost to
different blocks could be given to the property owners. It was decided that
the newspaper be asked to furnish sufficient oopies so that each property
owner could be sent one and that the estimated cost be furnished the pro-
perty owners. If possible, it was decided that the public hearing should
be held at the next meeting. On roll call, the resolution passed unanimously
with Councilman Fletcher absent.
RESOLUTION No. 299
RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION TO MAKE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN
HUDSON STREET FROM JEFFERSON AVENUE TO WOODSIDE ROAD.
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, California, that
it does hereby preliminarily determine that public convenience and necessity
require, and that it intends to order the following work to be done and im-
provements to be made in and for said City, to -wit:
1.
