City Clerk Dodge presented resolution authorizing transfer of funds to Police <br />Department, Fire Department, Animal Shelter and Parks Department to cover <br />expenditures for the balance of the fiscal year 1945-46 in the amount of <br />$950. Councilman Britschgi offered adoption of resolution authorizing trans- <br />fer of funds in the amount of $950 from unbudgeted reserve.to Police Depart- <br />ment to cover expenditures for the balance of the fiscal year. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Warder and on roll call was unanimously adopted. <br />.I <br />RESOLUTION No. 316 <br />AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO POLICE DEPT., FIRE DEPT., ANIMAL <br />SHELTER AND PARKS DEPT. TO COVER EXPENDITURES FOR THE BALANCE OF <br />FISCAL YEAR 1945-46. <br />RESOLVED, that the sum of $950.00 be and it is hereby authorized to be <br />transferred by the City Treasurer from Unbudgeted Reserve to the following: <br />Acct. No. 4213 - Police Dept. - Motor Vehicle - $900.00 <br />Acct. No. 4413 - Parks Dept: - Motor'Vehicle - 50.00 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sum of $350.00 be transferred from Fire <br />Dept. Salary Acct. No. 4221 to Fire Dept. Motor Vehicle Acct. No. 42232 and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that,the sum of $50.00 be transferred from <br />Animal Shelter Salary Acct. No. 4231 to Animal Shelter Motor Vehicle Acct. <br />No. 4233. <br />The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Council <br />of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day <br />of May, 1946, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolu- <br />tion: Councilmen: ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, McNULTY, SWIFT, WERDER, <br />and HILTON. <br />NOES, and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE <br />W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />City Attorney McCarthy presented resolution accepting deed to one-half of Wharf <br />Street. The city now owns the other half. Councilman Armstrong offered <br />adoption of resolution accepting deed to one-half of Wharf Street, seconded <br />by Councilman Britschgi. On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />R E S 0 L U T I O N No. 317 <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the hereunto <br />annexed deed dated the 17th day of April, 1946 and made between CARLO DE <br />PETRIS and DELFINA DE PETRIS, his wife, the parties of the first part, and <br />the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />the party of the second part, be and the same is hereby accepted by the <br />City of Redwood City and the Clerk of this Council is hereby ordered to <br />have the same recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County <br />of San Mateo, State of California.. <br />The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted byrthe Coun- <br />cil of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th <br />day of May, 1946, -by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution: Councilmen: ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, McNULTY, SWIFT, <br />WERDER and HILTON. <br />341 <br />
