58 <br />Oleson and son; City. Manager Mead. advised:..that.- •his., lot did not com- <br />ply in any way with the ordinance.. There, is .no- .oll..surfacing and there <br />are several other violations, such as chuck. holes_ and _unsightly condition. <br />Mr. Oleson was in the audience and advised,that the Purity stores are <br />taking the back portion of. the lot and that there was very little of the <br />old used car 'lot left. He stated that the portion that is to be ,main- <br />tained as a car lot is in good condition,—city Manager Mead advised <br />that the portion which had been inspected was that portion where used <br />cars have been sold and where. there is a platform.for display purposes. <br />Councilman Britschgi moved the matter be laid..on.the table until the <br />next meeting and the City Manager contact Mr. Ole,son and, make a further <br />Inspection of the lot.as designated by Mr. Oleson to see what the condi- <br />tions are and to report back at the next meeting.*. The motion was sec- <br />onded by Councilman Granger and passed unanimously. <br />Towne Motor Company, E1 Camino.Reals:.Cit.y.Manager Mead advised this <br />lot complied with the ordinance.. Councilman..Brits.chgi•.moved, seconded by <br />Councilman McNulty, that the permit be grant ed. Moti.on.passed unanimously. <br />E. H. Plume, 1767 Main streets City Manager .Mead. .advised this lot <br />complied. It has been oil surfaced and -a. now. .f•ence .exerted. Councilman <br />Armstong moved, seconded by Councilman.Bri.ta.ohgi,. that the permit be <br />granted. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Davies Auto Company: City Manager Mead advised this lot complied <br />with the ordinance. Councilman Anderson moved,.seconded,by Councilman <br />Britsohgi, that the permit be granted. Motion.passed unanimously. <br />West Bay Motors,_=Inc.: City Manager. Mead advised this lot how <br />complies. It has been ,oil..surfaced. and screened. Councilman Britsohgi <br />moved# seconded by Councilman Anderson, that the permit be granted* Mo- <br />tion passed unanimously. <br />Cuddy Motor Company: City Manager Mead advised that this lot does <br />not comply and that no application had been received for renewal of permit. <br />Councilman Granger moved that the city manager be instructed to enforce <br />the ordinance in.t he•case of the Cuddy Motor Company.,.seoonded by Council- <br />man Anderson. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Granger questioned, on which lot. Mr. Van Buren is operating, <br />and asked for which lot the permit was granted. City Manager Mead advised <br />he would check into the matter and see 'that We Van Buren keeps to the lot <br />for which the permit is. -granted. <br />City Attorney McCarthy advised that.the matter of rezoning property -at the cor- <br />ner of bathrop and pine .Streets for the. purpose of. erecting a,. laundry had <br />again•been fully discussed by the Planning Commission.and a meeting had <br />been arranged to make a survey of this entire area to see if a plan could <br />R. <br />M <br />�t <br />U <br />rM <br />0 <br />
