Hilton <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Councilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, adoption of. <br />resolution on srle of property at Bro?dway and Jefferson. Motion passed <br />on roll tail, Councilmen Anderson and Fletcher noted absent. <br />Councilman Granger stated that Mr. W. G. Frost had inquired regarding pro- <br />ceeding with plans for sewage disposal plant, in absence of a. city manager.. <br />Councilman Granger moved, seconded oy Councilman Armstrong, that Mr•. Frost <br />be.instructed to proceed with preparing plans and specifications prelimi- <br />nary to asking for bids prior to bond sale. Motion carried. <br />Suggestion was made by Councilman Granger that Council consider allowing <br />Fire Chief Ryan to remove engine used on siren on roof of Firehouse•+l, <br />for use by some other city department if desired; also that siren used at <br />McKinley School be placed at the Corporation Yard for emergency use -in <br />event fire signal at Frank Tannery would be put out of service, requesting <br />Chief Ryan to make report at next meeting. Chief Ryan stated that it <br />would be valuable in an emergency and that it would only involve a little <br />labor to install. <br />Referring to notice in Tribune of this date that water rates in Redwood City <br />are to be raised, Councilman Granger inquired if notice had been received <br />by the City to this effect. Being advised in the negative by Mrs. <br />Miramontes and City Clerk Dodge, Mayor Hilton instructed Mr. Dodge to <br />turn over notice when received, to City Engineer Clarke for study, and <br />Li <br />
