as corrected, however, there were still some changes which Mr. Wilson desired.
The hearing for the reassessment should be set not less than twenty days form this
date and the resolution provided -for the hearing to be held March 3, 1947, There
was some discussion in regard to which newspaper the publication of the notice of
hearing would be published, Mr. Wilson explaining that if published in.!a weekly
paper it need be published only twice and if published in a daily paper it would
have to be published five times. It was decided that the publication would be
published in the Star Advertiser, a weekly paper. Mr. Wilson advised that Assess-
ment No. 90 covered the Hetch Hetchy right of way and was not subject to assess-
ment or bond debt. It was his opinion that the City of San Francisco would be
willing to make a reasonable contribution to the project. City Clerk Dodge ad-
vised that the City of San Francisco had paid the assessments on other pieces of
property but had not been advised that there was an assessment against this piece
of property but he believed that it would be paid. Councilman McNulty offered
resolution directing the making of.a reassessment of Resolution of Intention
1946-1 and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. On roll call
resolution was unanimously adopted with Councilman Armstrong -absent.
Mr. Wilson presented the reassessment as made by the City Engineer as of this date,
dated and approved, together with assessment diagram signed by the City Engineer
to be filed and certified by the City Clerk on the first certificate as of -this
i date.
Councilman Britschgi offered resolution fixing time and place of hearing on the
assessment of Resolution of Intention No. 1946-1, to be published in the Star
Advertiser and fixing time of hearing -as March j, 1947, and moved its adoption,
seconded by Councilman McNulty. On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted
with Councilman Armstrong absent.
