112 <br />as corrected, however, there were still some changes which Mr. Wilson desired. <br />The hearing for the reassessment should be set not less than twenty days form this <br />date and the resolution provided -for the hearing to be held March 3, 1947, There <br />was some discussion in regard to which newspaper the publication of the notice of <br />hearing would be published, Mr. Wilson explaining that if published in.!a weekly <br />paper it need be published only twice and if published in a daily paper it would <br />have to be published five times. It was decided that the publication would be <br />published in the Star Advertiser, a weekly paper. Mr. Wilson advised that Assess- <br />ment No. 90 covered the Hetch Hetchy right of way and was not subject to assess- <br />ment or bond debt. It was his opinion that the City of San Francisco would be <br />willing to make a reasonable contribution to the project. City Clerk Dodge ad- <br />vised that the City of San Francisco had paid the assessments on other pieces of <br />property but had not been advised that there was an assessment against this piece <br />of property but he believed that it would be paid. Councilman McNulty offered <br />resolution directing the making of.a reassessment of Resolution of Intention <br />1946-1 and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. On roll call <br />resolution was unanimously adopted with Councilman Armstrong -absent. <br />Mr. Wilson presented the reassessment as made by the City Engineer as of this date, <br />dated and approved, together with assessment diagram signed by the City Engineer <br />to be filed and certified by the City Clerk on the first certificate as of -this <br />i date. <br />Councilman Britschgi offered resolution fixing time and place of hearing on the <br />assessment of Resolution of Intention No. 1946-1, to be published in the Star <br />Advertiser and fixing time of hearing -as March j, 1947, and moved its adoption, <br />seconded by Councilman McNulty. On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted <br />with Councilman Armstrong absent. <br />RE S GLUT I ON No. 436 <br />FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING ON REASSESSMENT AND PROVIDING NOTICE <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 1946-1 <br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, San Mateo County, <br />California, that <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 423 adopted by this council on January <br />13, 1947, the city engineer did on the 3rd day of February, 1947, file with this <br />council a reassessment, together with a diagram thereto attached, covering proper- <br />ties involved in proceedings under Resolution of Intention No. 1946-1. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Monday, the 3rd day of March, 1947, at <br />the hour of eight o'clock P.M. at the Council Chambers, City Hall, Redwood City, <br />California, be, and the same are hereby, fixed as the time and place for hearing <br />said reassessment before said city council. <br />IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the city clerk shall advertise the time of such <br />hearing before said city council by publishing a notice twice in the Star Adver- <br />tiser a newspaper published and circulated in said city, and hereby designated <br />for that purpose. <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, at a meeting thereof <br />held on the 3rd day of February, 1947, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, McNULTY, SWIFT, <br />WERDER and Mayor HILTON. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: ARMSTRONG <br />RALPH S.
