Motion passed unanimously. <br />M <br />Mayor Hilton asked for verbal protests to the rezoning. There were no written or verbal <br />protests and Councilman Granger offered adoption of ordinance rezoning Lots 7 to 12, <br />Block 3, Range D. Mezesville, from second residential to business district, seconded <br />by Councilman Swift. On roll call, ordinance was unanimously adopted. <br />City Manager Blom advised that Albert Morgan, Jr., Chairman of the planning Commission had <br />asked that the Council defer action on the matter of having copies of the Master Plan <br />printed due to the fact that he has arranged to have samples of the plan for the next <br />meeting of the Council. The matter was carried on the agenda. <br />City Attorney McCarthy advised he had a proposed ordinance providing for installation of <br />water mains in new subdivisions ready for presentation but that the City Manager had <br />not had an opportunity to study it and it was ordered that the matter be placed on <br />the agenda for the next meeting. <br />Councilman Armstrong offered resolution calling for engineer to prepare plans and specifi- <br />cations for a sewer on Valota and Woodside Road and moved its adoption, seconded by <br />Councilman Werder. Under the question, City Manager Blom advised that he believed <br />the plans would be ready for submission to the Council at the next meeting. On roll <br />call, resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />R E S 0 L U T ION No. 443. <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS: TO -WIT <br />THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SEWER IN VALOTA ROAD FROM REDWOOD AVENUE TO WOODSIDE,ROAD. <br />2 RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City that the City Engineer <br />j of this City be and he is hereby directed to prepare and submit to this City Council <br />plans, specifications, profiles and estimate of cost, assessment diagram and assess- <br />ment for the public improvement,'to-wit the construction of a sewer'as a necessary <br />health measure, described in Resolution No- 340 of this Council, passes and adopted <br />June,3, 194b, entitled "Determining That The Construction Of A Sewer In Valota Road <br />From Redwood Avenue To Hampton Court Is Necessary As A Health Measure". and Resolution <br />360 of this Council, passed and adopted July 15, 194, entitled "Determing that the <br />Construction of a Sewer in Valota Road from Hampton Court to Woodside Road is Necessary <br />as a Health Measure°. <br />The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council <br />of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of March, <br />1947s by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: AM14STRONGO BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, McNULTY, SWIFT, WERDER and Mayor HILTON <br />NOES: Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE <br />' ATTEST : ' <br />RALPH S.
