<br />The.rates of wages,.including overtime, holiday or Sunday rates above specified
<br />are subject to the effect, if applicable hereto, of Executive Orders of the President
<br />of the United States, Na. 9240, dated September 9, 1942, and No. 9250, dated October
<br />3, 1942,. and to any modification thereof and to any and all lawfull orders of the
<br />President or other authorized Federal Officer or agency insofar as the same may be
<br />applicable to this contract. In case of any inconsistency, the rates fixed by such
<br />applicable Federal Order, whether higher or lower, shall control.
<br />Holidays: New Year's Day, Washington's Birthday, Independence Day, Labor Day,
<br />Admission Day, Armistice Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. No work shall be done
<br />on Labor. Day except to preserve life and property. The above schedule of wage rates
<br />is the general prevailing rate of perdiem wages for work of a similar character in
<br />the locality in which the work described above is to be performed.

<br />meeting.thereof held on.the 17th day of March, 1947, by the following vote:
