204 BE�Im"'kNG At a point.on the Southerly line of Broadway, formerly called <br />"A° Street, as shown on that certain map hereinafter• -referred to, distant <br />thereon Westerly 257.62 feet from the Westerly line of Main Street, said <br />point of beginning being also 35.5 feet Westerly from the intersection <br />of said line of.Broadway with the Westerly line of the property conveyed to <br />Wooll by Deed recorded in Book 213 of Deeds at page 427; thence from <br />said point of beginning Southerly and parallel with said property line <br />of Wooll 100 feet; thence at right angles Westerly 20.71 feet to the <br />Easterly line of lands fromerly occupied by Cloud and O'Keefe; thence <br />Northerly and along said Easterly line of Cloud and O'Keefe, 100 feet <br />to the Southerly line of Broadway and thence Easterly and along said <br />line of Broadway, 20.71 feet to the point of beginning. <br />BEING the Westerly portion of Lots numbered sixty-two (62) and sixty-three <br />as shown on the map of Mezesville (now called Redwood City) filed in the <br />office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County August 1, 1856, in Book <br />1 of Maps at page 79 thereof. <br />BE IT -FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Redwood City receive the conveyance <br />of said real property subject to the terms set forth in said deed conveying the <br />title to said property to the City of Redwood City. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of June, 1947, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilman: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MaNULTY, SWIFT, WERDER and Mayor <br />HILTON. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: NONE <br />W. MURRAY to property on Broadway and moved its adoption, seconded by <br />Councilman Swift. On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />R E S 0 L U T ION No. 482 <br />ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM WILLIAM D. MURRAY AND MARIAN S. MURRAY, HIS WIFE <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the.City of Redwood City that the quit claim deed <br />from WILLIAM D. MURRAY and MARIAN S. MURRAY$ his wife, to the City of Redwood City, <br />dated May 39 1947, be accepted byand on behalf of said City, said deed being for <br />the following described property: <br />BEGINNING at a point described as follows: COMMENCING at a -point on <br />the Southerly line of Broadway, distant thereon S'860 301 W 297.33 feet <br />from the Westerly line of Main Street; thence S 30 30' E 100 feet to the } <br />true point of beginning; thence from said true point of beginning and 1 <br />continuing along the last mentioned line S P 30' E 29.76 feet to the f <br />Northeasterly line of Lot 1 in Block 1 as shown on °Map of the Property <br />In Villa Lots of J. V. Diller", filed September 18, 1863, in Book E° <br />of Maps at page 77, Records of San Mateo County; thence along said last <br />named line, S 240 321 1511 E 23.95 feet to the most Easterly corner of <br />said Lot 1; thence N 860 30' E 10.60 feet to the center line of the <br />Easterly branch of Redwood Creek; thence down and along the center line <br />of said Creek in a Northwesterly direction 52 feet, more or less, to a <br />point -which bears N 8b* 301 E 2.b7 feet from the point of beginning; <br />thence S 8bo 301 W 2.b7 feet to the point of beginning.
