Councilman Britschgi-offered resolution accepting deed from <br />Dave Avrech and Betty Avrech to property on Broadway, and moved its adoption, seconded <br />by Councilman Werder. On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />itESO LUT I ON No, 491 <br />ACCEPTING DEED FROM DAVE AVRECH AND BETTY AVRECH, HIS WIFE. <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the deed from DAVE <br />t AVRECH and BETTY AVRECH, his wife, to the City of Redwood City, dated April 24, 1947, <br />be accepted by and on behalf of said City, said deed being for the following <br />described property: <br />Those lots of land in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of <br />California, described as follows: <br />2.0 3 <br />Job No. 1 - In Redwood Villa Park and Murray Tract, install 24b0 lin. feet of b" <br />water main with valves, fittings and appurtenances; <br />Job No. 2 - On Edgewood Road between the Alameda de las Pulgas and Cordilleras Road, <br />install 2150 lin. feet of btl water main with valves, fittings and appurtenances; <br />all materials for said work to be furnished by the City at its Corporation Yard; and <br />WHEREAS all sealed proposals were publicly opened and read in the office of the <br />City Manager, City Hall, Redwood City, California, on Monday, June 2, 19470 at 11 <br />_ <br />o'clock A. M.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City as follows: <br />t <br />(1) That contracts for doing the work hereinabove referred to are hereby <br />awarded to the lowest responsible bidder therefor, to wit: <br />Job No. 1 L.
