On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted. 22 9. <br />RE S 0 L U T ION No. 490. <br />AUTHOR;[ZING APPLICATION TO BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE.COUNTY OF SAN <br />MATEO FOR CONCELLATION OF TAXES ON CITY- OWNED PROPERTY. <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that.a petition for the <br />cancellation of taxes on the property hereinafter described be filed with the Board <br />of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, and that the City Manager be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to sign such a petition on behalf of the City and to <br />take such action as may be necessary to have the same favorably acted upon by said <br />Board of Supervisors. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />CITY MANAGER BLOM ADVISED THAT IN REGARD TO WORK BEING DONE IN REDWOOD TERRACE No. 2, <br />the work is being done by the owner by private contract. $65,000 had been deposited <br />In the bank to guarantee completion of the work. The sidewalk work had been delayed <br />because of the water main installation and $6000 had been set aside to cover the <br />cost so that the rest of the work was not held up. The City Manager at this time <br />requested that he be authorized to sign a supplemental agreement with the Land <br />Development Company to set aside $5,500 for street lighting. Councilman Swift moved, <br />seconded by Councilman McNulty, that the City Manager be authorized to enter into <br />a supplemental agreement with the Land Development Company to withhold $5,500 for <br />the street lighting in Redwood Terrace No. 2. Motion passed unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION No. 491 AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMAN WERDER, seconded <br />by Councilman Britsehgi. On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />R E S 0 L U T ION No. 491 <br />RESOLVED that the following transfers of funds be made and it is hereby <br />authorized: <br />From Municipal Buildings, Alteration & Repairs #408-4 $ 500.00 <br />From Misc.
